At Freeman precision-machined products take many shapes and sizes. We have capabilities for 4-axis milling as well as 7-mill-turn machining. When required, total tolerances of .0005 can be held and maintained. Metal compositions that Freeman currently machines include:

Thin-Walled Swaged Tube-Machine Parts
Wall thicknesses can be consistently held to .023 +/-.002 with finishes under 16 microinch over a 70-inch length. We have been a leader in this market for over 20 years.
Tie Rods / Control Rods / Hold Open Rods
Rotary swaging for tie, control and hold open rods has the capability of sizes up to 4.5-inch diameter and over 12 feet in length. Swaging, one of our market leading specialties, can be utilized during assembly to ensure the rod end is securely fastened. Both the tie and control rod ends (clevis or bearing) can be manufactured and assembled in house. We can also manufacture the majority of components required in the assembly of the hold open rod with the entire assembly performed in-house.
